When making a donation, can we specify where it goes?

Absolutely!  Make a note on your check of how you would like your funds designated.

Can I specify that 50% of my donation goes to Meals on Wheels and 50% goes to Senior Emergency Funds?

Yes, just send a note along with your check or write in the notes section of your check : 50%MOW; 50% SE

In addition to sending a cash donation, can I help in other ways?

Friends can always use help with their fundraising events.  Check out our volunteer opportunies on the website or contact Gary Galloway @ 770.822.8837.  In addition, the seniors can always use personal care items, gift baskets, etc.  Please call Gwinnett Senior Services at 770.822.8850  for questions regarding in-kind donations.

Are donations tax deductible?

Yes.  Friends is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
